“Rhema” Jordan Labbe is a Washington, D.C. based visual artist, experiential designer, and art director whose work explores narratives of identity and consciousness.

Jordan completed her Bachelor’s of Arts in Painting and Creative Writing at Muhlenberg

College, and has since concluded a number of seasonal artist residencies in D.C., New York and Japan. In 2018, she was the inaugural resident artist at Eaton, where she completed a new body of work in painting and sound, alongside an environment that fostered creativity at the intersection of social change. Their most recent artist residency took place at SARUYA in Fujiyoshida, Japan, where they explored a new body of work alongside cultural and artistic exchange. Jordan’s interdisciplinary practice has brought into being various bodies of work in painting, sound, performance art and poetry.

Rhema has shared their work in private spaces and exhibitions, in the Washington D.C. region, NYC and Japan.

As an extension of their studio practice, Jordan engages community by curating experiences in art, design, and coffee that encourages shared expression and collective healing within cultural space.
